Rifle MB Weekend at Camp Atterbury

WHEN: November 14-16

WHAT: We have coordinated the use of Army rifle ranges and training areas to facilitate a premier event. Attendees stay in an Army barracks for the weekend so no tents or trailers are needed for this outing. Saturday meals consist of breakfast in an Army mess hall, an MRE for lunch, and a cookout-style dinner.

HOW: More information can be found at www.woodlineadventures.com to include online registration.

GOODWILL SERVICE PROJECT:  Our Troop’s annual Goodwill donation drive starts this coming Tuesday, October 7th.  Please bring your used clothing, sporting equipment, kitchen items, or anything else you have that you no longer want.  Items must be placed in kitchen garbage bags (13 gallon size) or printer paper sized boxes.  One bag or box earns a patch for your scout.  However, the more bags donated the better.  The patrol which donates the most bags will receive a pizza party at a Troop meeting.  We are only collecting items on October 7th and 14th.  Because bags will be stored in the trailer, all scouts are asked to meet at the Goodwill store on Allisonville road at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 16th, to help unload the trailer and take pictures.  Please help make this year the most successful Goodwill donation drive ever!!

RECHARTER: A separate email was sent to every Scout and Family this morning about recharter.  If you did not get it let me know ASAP. Deadline is October 15th.
